Mad About Scrappin' ??

"Sisterly Love"
Shock, horror! I've managed 2 Layouts in one day...and the irony is that DH didnt take out his 'girlfriend' (aka model aircraft lol) today !!!

First up the October 'Mad About Scrappin' colour challenge...using the above photo as inspiration!
It seems like ages since I done a real "girly girly" LO, so the inspiration was just beautiful and perfect timing to used this photo taken of my 2 DGD's.

The Echo Park pp was part of a mini kit that I purchased at Mad About Scrappin' ages ago, so ideal time to use this as well. I love the colours and the patterns. Its also the first time I've used the EK Success punch to make the flowers, which I purchased from the Scrapbook show in June.
Supplies:
Mulberry Cardstock (unknown); Echo Park papers & stickers (Hello Spring); Tim Holtz die (Distressed doily); EK Success boarder punch (flowers); Prima flower centres; Kaiser rhinestones; metal & pearl flower (unknown); Glimmer Mist (Lily Pad); Versa Color ink (Turquoise); Ranger Liquid Pearls (avocado); Dylusions mask (leaves); ribbon; twill; gel pen; double sided tape; Helmar adhesive.

Secondly,"You & Me"
"You & Me"
as promised Stop#5 over at the Scrapbooking Top 50 Amazing Race is "France" with the following criteria:
1. Love themed layout to represent the city of love!
2. At least one heart to represent the romantics at heart who flock to paris.
3. At least one charm to aid of all the charming features of France.
Yep I've met the criteria with a picture of when I was 'pit crew' for DH during his mountain biking days (pre model aircraft lol)...and yes that's what I call "Love" LOL
Supplies:
Bazzil Cardstock; old book pp; Kaiser stamp; Prima mask; National Art Materials Gesso Primer; Derivan Matisse Impasto Medium; Jo Sonja’s paint (pine green); Versa Color ink (charcoal); Scrapbooking Top 50 Amazing Race Kit charm (brass bicycle); Eye Candy Magic bottle top (“enjoy the journey”); CharmsCreations Heavenly heart; Glimmer Mist (Key Lime Pie); A2Z scraplets chipboard (hanging heart) and Scrap FX Wordlets (You & Me); Perfect Pearls Mists (Forever Blue); Stamp-It embossing powder (clear); Stampendous pearlized mica fragments (flower centres); Helmar 450 Quick dry adhesive.
Thanks for popping over to have a peek! If you're 'just visiting' please leave me a comment so I know you've been :)  Have a great week ahead...I do hope to see you again next week for "the ROADBLOCK" in the Scrapbooking Top 50 amazing race...hugs'n'hearts, Mazz

My fairy

Your fairy is called Columbine Goblinglitter
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows.
She is only seen in the light of a shooting star.
She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.
