Currumbin Beach

here's a LO I've just completed for TWO challenges...1 challenge required the quote "do what makes you happy" + at least 2 circles...I've based the LO on the sketch on the left; I've used: C/S: Bazzil basics; pps, quotes and stickers: Rusty Pickle; mulberry roses, Luster Rub-ons, metal circles from stash, double sided tape and magic mount. The photo of DH and I on Currumbin Beach, Gold Coast, at the sculpture festival last year…’creations heart’ was made from recycled materials and biodegradable plant fibre. Thanks for looking xxx

apt for today....

It is only when we are very happy, that we can bear to gaze merrily upon the vast and limitless expanse of water, rolling on and on with such persistent, irritating monotony, to the accompaniment of our thoughts, whether grave or gay. When they are gay, the waves echo their gaiety; but when they are sad, then every breaker, as it rolls, seems to bring additional sadness, and to speak to us of hopelessness and of the pettiness of all our joys." - Baroness Emmuska Orczy, The Scarlet Pimpernel

my "latest"

  1. "A smiles it the same in any language" “A SMILE is the same in any language”
This photo of these refugees (from Bangladesh/ Rohingya) was taken at a recent multicultural festival and I thought this would be perfect motivation LOL…C/s: Bazzil bling (title); pps, doily and stamp: Basic Grey (Capella); Making Memories distresser; Cri Cut (Plantin School book); inks: StayzOn (burnt orange) and Versacolor (olive); lustre rubons, acetate; Flourish: Flourish with a bling (kindly donated by Colleen) adhesives: Kaiser and Helmar glue dots, double sided tape and magic mount.
  2. "BIGGLES"...“The name is James Bigglesworth, but my friends call me Biggles” Biggles was a (British) WWII pilot hero and this phrase is quoted from the fictional character book by Capt. W E Johns. Biggles is the nickname my DH has because of his aircraft ‘love’ of vintage and early aircraft. This Tiger Moth flight was my birthday present to DH last year. (Our them wedding was “Biggles gets married, and I still haven’t scrapped that yet LOL) products: C/S Bazzil; pps: Cosmo Cricket (Lil’ Man), Sassafras (Anthem) and Wishmade; C/B: Scrapware (propellers) and Basic Grey (title); Inks: Brilliance, Versacolor and Versamark; Embossing powder: Top Boss; adhesives: Helmar 450, double sided tape and magic mount. I will upload a wedding vid on here so, please watch this space :)
  3. "Me and my (soul) mate" products: Canvas, Making memories paints, rik rak, Bazzill, ribbon and unknown pps.
hope you enjoy! Thanks for looking all

My fairy

Your fairy is called Columbine Goblinglitter
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows.
She is only seen in the light of a shooting star.
She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.
